Our Story
Mark Zeman, Founder of Fulcrum has played soccer for his entire life and was fortunate enough to play collegiately at Georgetown University. After college, he continued to play soccer and manage teams on a weekly basis, but after pursuing a career in corporate finance for over a decade, he knew that it was time for a change.
Mark’s passion for soccer has always brought great joy to his life, and he wanted to share that same passion with others. This pursuit brought him and his wife, Yvonne to the great city of Cincinnati to create an indoor, five-a-side soccer facility where players and spectators alike would feel welcome. In 2024, they were fortunante to have an opportunity to open a second location in the Chicagoland area and move their family back to be closer to family and continue to build Fulcrum. In 2026, they sold the Cincinnati location to former pro and their long term business leader, Kenney Walker. Mark is now pursuing Fulcrum's expansion in IL and helping others create and build their own facilities through this consulting company, Bearings FC.
